I think these look amazing, I wonder why these aren’t a factory option. How do you like ‘em?
A dealer installs these, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

I think they aren’t a dealer option because they look terrible, take away from corporate branding and by virtue of the fact that they are “retro” they already look dated. Slapping giant stickers on a brand new paint job seems like a recipe for everything looking like crap in a few years.

Oh shit, the vinyl looks great! that “Cheyanne Super” hood decal tho is trash, maybe just the placement, maybe. But that and the “Big 10" rubish. remove those and leave the rest!

not a fan, but WAY better than vinyl roofs or fake wood on the sides

They look awesome, especially in higher trims.

I don’t like it. They don’t match the lines and just look wrong. The wheels are totally wrong for this era of truck, too.
If they were a good designer, they would have obtained employment with an automaker. Another mark against them.

Ehh, not really my taste. In my opinion for these old liveries to work on modern vehicles, the livery has to also be updated. I don’t think you can just take an old graphic and plop it on a new vehicle, there’s a bit of a clash in doing that. The classic Martini livery is a good example of a design that changes with the car just enough to keep it fresh, but still recognizable:

Thought I’d hate it, but I kind of like it.

I lived through this madness the first time. I know fashion is cyclical, but there are some thing that came out of the ‘70s that should have stayed in the ‘70s.
Remember, this is the same era that is responsible for this:
And corduroy. Oh how I hated corduroy.

I like it, but I think it works mainly due to the square styling of the truck. It works on this Chevy and it would probably be OK on a Ram, but it would look like crap on an F-150 or on the new Chevy coming out later this year.

Hahaha just the other day I bought some second hand corduroy trousers. But I console myself by saying that I like cream and tan, which is tasteful and new instead of your ole regular BROWN.

Agreed.

The vinyl looks terrible, it’s emulating something without a basic understanding of how/why it works on the original C10.
That two-tone was bracketed by trim and body lines that ran parallel down the sides of the truck:
Long, linear, uninterrupted.
Vs.
This abomination:
Look at all the body lines it’s clashing with!
Worse yet:
Jesus christ, there’s a nice crisp body line 4” up that they could’ve played off of. Instead they just slapped it on there, because some idiot will pay a $5k markup for $250 worth of stickers and cheaper than stock wheels.
If I were GM I’d take the dealers franchise away.

Just wait. When you try to sneak up on your best friend to give him a noogie, the fffwwwwppp, fffwwwwppp, fffwwwwppp of your corduroy pants will give you away. Then you will realize your mistake.

I had a leisure suit as a kid. My dad bought one for my brother and me when we had to go to a wedding in about 1977. True story.
As for the truck, I kind of like it. It’s like a retro livery on an airliner. I think the green one looks particularly good.

What they’re trying to mimic is the Squarebody trucks, not the earlier C-10's.
I still think the whole thing needs to be raised so that it’s centered around the taillights, and so the lines line up at the front fender. Overall I like it on the green truck, but the red one is terrible.

Yes! I’ve posted pictures of these before that I found on FB, but didn’t have the source. I think these are the business, and I wish I could afford to buy a blue crew cab version right damn now.
I’d pay even more if it has two plaid bench seats.

That’s awesome, I can’t stand new trucks but these look pretty good.

I was the ring bearer in my uncle’s wedding. The color of our matching tuxedos was “toast”. More like burnt toast. I almost missed the wedding because I didn’t want to wear that tux. It was a battle that I lost. Fortunately, I can say with certainty, “they MADE me wear it!”

Green one looks good. Red one needs the chrome grill/bumper to pull it off. That said, the Cheyenne badges look stupid.

I like it from every angle, except the front. Someone needs to remake a grille/headlight surrounds that would fit it better. Maybe even to accomidate sealed beam round headlights (but with updated LED’s).
